Trudeau is Humiliated by Poilievre for Weak NATO Presence

Published:

Clown Leader

The world’s patience with Trudeau and his incompetence is wearing thin, and everyone can tell that it was on full display at the recent NATO summit – especially Pierre Poilievre.

Trudeau and his band of liberal yes-men continue to bring great shame upon our nation, much to the embarrassment of Pierre Poilievre and patriotic Canadians everywhere.

Poilievre describes Trudeau as a pinata during the latest NATO summit, because he couldn’t stop being criticised and humiliated by every member and world leader for not even having the respect to put out a strategy that plans to reach the agreed upon 2% rate for defence spending.

Trudeau would rather lie and obfuscate, because he knows that he is cornered now more than ever.

Trudeau Draws the Ire of Poilievre

Trudeau has made it a clear habit for himself and his gaggle of liberal goons to keep embarrassing and humiliating themselves and Canadians on the world stage.

And if for some inexplicable reason it was not enough for them that the whole world gets to view Canada as a laughing stock, then now they are doubling their efforts to make Canada a study case for other nations on what they should clearly stay away from to avoid the crumbling of justice and society.

Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre clearly realised all the damage that Trudeau has committed to tarnish the reputation of Canada in the eyes of every other global leader. And the biggest example of such damage is how Trudeau has failed to live up to the defence spending expectations that were agreed upon by him and every other respected NATO member.

All his failed promises and general incompetence leading up to yet another round of humiliation and embarrassment during the latest NATO summit where one of the hot subjects on everyone’s mind at the assembly was none other than Canada’s weakness and Trudeau being unwilling or unbothered enough to pony up and pay what he is owed and what is agreed upon.

It even got the speaker of the house of representatives Mike Johnson to come out and publicly lambast Trudeau as a freeloader who is riding on America’s coattails just because he shares a border with the strongest nation on earth.

Trudeau is a Global Piñata

Poilievre describes what happened to Trudeau at the NATO summit as something akin to world leaders gathering around and hitting Trudeau like he is a party piñata. And just like a party piñata his weakness is his greatest and most defining attribute.

His weak leadership and wasteful spending has led to billions of taxpayer money being put into “woke” and useless initiatives instead of pumping and strengthening our defence forces with new equipment, weapons and ammunition. Lord knows our brothers and sisters in the Canadian military desperately need some attention and care.

While other leaders presented concrete plans to meet spending targets, Trudeau offered only vague assurances that Canada would hit 2% by 2032. But he provided no details on how this would be even remotely achieved.

But we know exactly why Trudeau is obfuscating hard and trying to divert attention away from his silly little schemes by pathetically quenching everyone’s anger with simple and vague promises of reaching the target; because he himself knows that it is feasibly impossible under his weak and overspending liberal regime. And we have the data and the reports from the parliamentary budget office to prove it.

Hiding the Truth

The Parliamentary Budget Office’s detailed analysis of actual expenditures shows that Canada will actually fall well short of its NATO target of 2% of GDP spent on defence by 2030.

The data clearly contradicts the government’s claims. The Liberals will try to claim that their defence spending will reach 1.76% of GDP by 2030 according to their nonexistent strategy and plans. But the Parliamentary Budget Office estimates it will only hit 1.42% after peaking at 1.49% around the years 2025-26.
I don’t know about you, but that’s a massive gap if I have ever seen one, and it just further showcases how Canada will remain an embarrassing laggard on defence under the continued leadership of the liberals and Trudeau.

But it doesn’t even stop there, the hits always keep coming with Trudeau and his corrupt friends, because the Parliamentary Budget Office also found the government is inflating its projected defence budget.

For 2029 and 2030, the Liberals claim spending will be almost 60 billion dollars. The Parliamentary Budget Office begs to differ however and pegs it at a rate where it barely reaches $52.2 billion after accounting for consistent lapses in prior budgets. So Trudeau’s numbers cannot be trusted because his own so-called experts have spoken and they used data from his own government’s previous budgets to confirm their assessments.

There is nothing more cut and dry than this right here folks. It is Trudeau and his pattern; It is Trudeau and his corruption; and it is Trudeau and his stupidity that led to him this moment right here where the whole world is laughing at him and all of us with him.

But what a great contrast this has been to what actual common sense conservatives will actually start doing with all the resources that Trudeau is willy-nilly spending without a care in the world and without a strategy for our troops.

Common sense conservatism and Poilievre will take this wasted money and will properly invest it into our military and our defence systems, so that they can invigorate and revive one of the strongest armies in the world.

Common sense conservatives aim to eliminate lapses, not paper them over.

They would direct savings into necessary equipment, training and recruitment. And They would commit to reaching 2% on a firm schedule, not more ephemeral Liberal vows.

Allies demand real action, not phantom figures and false promises.

Conservatives are ready to provide the leadership that Trudeau could never even dare to.
