Liberal Minister refuses to call Trudeau a ‘liability’ to the party

Published:

Champagne Abandons Trudeau’s Sinking Ship

A top Trudeau Liberal supporter just totally abandoned ship and refused to defend Justin when grilled about whether he’s an asset or liability.

When CBC asked Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne point-blank if Trudeau is helping or hurting the Liberals, he completely dodged endorsing him. Even Trudeau’s loyal supporters are fleeing his sinking ship.

Instead of praising his boss, the squirmy minister gave a non-answer when pressed repeatedly on Trudeau being an asset or liability. He knows Justin is a problem at this point.

You could see the panic in Champagne’s eyes as he awkwardly muttered vague spin about Trudeau’s “leadership.” But he stopped short of calling the failing PM an asset, even on the government’s own partisan propaganda network.

This is a massive red flag – the Liberals are so done with walking PR disaster Trudeau. They want to quietly dump their damaged leader before he drags their whole party down in flames.

But delusional Trudeau still thinks he’s a golden boy and plans to selfishly cling to power for years while his team cringes. He’s oblivious to Canadians desperately wanting to eject him from office.

Trudeau a Liability After Losing Liberal Stronghold

Liberal Industry Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne refused to endorse Justin Trudeau when asked if the PM is an asset or liability to his party. Champagne dodged the question repeatedly when pressed, showing even those close to Trudeau won’t defend him anymore.

This exchange on CBC radio confirms what Canadians already know – Trudeau has become a lightning rod for dissatisfaction after nearly a decade of scandals, failures and broken promises. The minister’s non-answer speaks volumes. He knows Trudeau has become an albatross around the neck of the Liberal Party.

Champagne pathetically tried deflecting, asking “to whom would you give the keys to the house?” But the host kept grilling him on whether Trudeau himself is an asset or liability. Champagne sputtered that Trudeau has provided “leadership” without ever calling him an asset.

The writing is on the wall. Senior Liberals won’t vocally back Trudeau because they see him as a politically toxic figure dragging their party down. Even his own team is quietly distancing themselves from the corrupt PM.

This just adds to the talk that Trudeau might pull another snap election stunt to hang onto power. But look at what happened in France and the UK recently—voters are totally over that trick. If the Liberals try it, they’ll probably end up in the same boat.

Trudeau’s failed 2021 election gamble delivered him only a slightly stronger minority government despite risking Canadian lives by forcing an election during COVID. Calling another snap election now would probably kill his political career for good.

The Liberals have nowhere to go but down under the deeply unpopular Trudeau. He’s been implicated in scandals like SNC-Lavalin, WE Charity, blackface, ArriveCAN app, and the list goes on. His record is defined by soaring inflation, out-of-control spending, crushing deficits and attacks on free speech.

Bill C-63, which grants the Trudeau government sweeping powers for online narrative control, is another alarming example. This legislation gives them unprecedented authority to suppress any content that does not align with their agenda, effectively censoring dissenting voices.

Canadians have had enough of Trudeau’s hypocrisy and incompetence. Even his own minister can’t bring himself to openly vouch for Trudeau anymore. The former golden boy has become an embarrassing liability.

Trudeau pathetically claimed there are still issues he wants to focus on before the next election like climate change, childcare and dental care. But these are just empty talking points after failing to deliver results in nearly a decade holding power.

Does anyone actually believe a proven promise-breaker like Trudeau anymore? He keeps spouting the same old lines about helping the middle class while everything gets pricier. Canadians have had enough of his nonsense.

That’s why Trudeau’s been dodging questions about his future and won’t commit to sticking around as PM until 2025. He knows Canadians are itching to kick him out as soon as they can.

Trudeau’s been in the PMO way too long, gathering baggage and wrecking his credibility. Even his pals seem ready to boot him out before he sinks the Liberals in the next election.

The minister’s telling refusal to call Trudeau an asset makes one thing clear – Trudeau has become an unbearable liability. Both his party and the country desperately need new direction and leadership. The Trudeau era has inflicted enough damage.

Canadians Desperate To Boot Delusional Trudeau

The longer he clings to power, the more dirt emerges on Trudeau’s scandalous conduct. For instance, an audit has unveiled shocking mismanagement under Trudeau’s administration, with nearly 14,000 ventilators purchased at $22,600 each under a $700 million Covid-19 program immediately declared surplus and some sold for scrap, causing significant financial loss to taxpayers.

Every month, more dirt comes out that damages Trudeau’s reputation and the Liberal Party. They’re going to pay a heavy price for sticking with a disgraced PM who’s completely out of touch with regular Canadians.

Even the taxpayer-funded CBC, Trudeau’s propaganda machine, can’t hide how fed up people are with him. The fact that the minister wouldn’t even endorse Trudeau on their own channel is a huge warning sign. The Liberals are doomed if they keep betting on Trudeau.

The writing is on the wall after a shocking Liberal by-election loss in Toronto-St. Paul’s, which they held for more than 30 years. Trudeau has become outright toxic in vote-rich urban centres he once easily captured.

Conservative Leader Poilievre aims to rescue Canadians from the suffering inflicted by Trudeau’s years of mismanagement. He’s calling for a snap election to allow the people to decisively express their preference for a common-sense Conservative government.

This highlights the Liberals’ desperation to postpone their inevitable reckoning. Clearly, the panicked Liberals want to delay that reckoning for as long as possible.

While Trudeau goes on about ‘democracy being eroded,’ he ignores the clear signs that Canadians are done with his tired act. Taking away our right to boot out failing governments is what’s really eroding democracy.

Trudeau’s claim that his government has important work left to do is laughable. If he really wanted to help Canadians, he’d stop clinging to power and let us choose new leaders who aren’t stuck in scandals.

Even the minister’s lack of endorsement shows the Liberals have lost faith in Trudeau’s ability to lead. He’s yesterday’s news, and voters are ready to move on.

The longer the Liberal stick with Trudeau, the more seats they’ll lose to Poilievre’s Conservatives, who represent the change people want. The minister’s silence speaks volumes – Trudeau needs to go for the good of Canada.
