The once dominant Tories are tearing themselves apart in a vicious round of finger-pointing and score-settling, and David Cameron has already fled the imploding wreckage, abandoning his party to its fate.

Other top Tories are now in the firing line as enraged colleagues look for scapegoats. The depth of bitterness is evident as Richard Holden faces demands for his resignation via angry 4am text messages.

SHowcasing that even in their lowest moments, the Tories never know when to shut up, get up, and pick up the pieces to rectify their catastrophes.

Loyalists point fingers, populists cry betrayal, and opportunists like Cameron cash in their careers before the whole thing implodes.

This perfect storm of chaos may spell the end for one of Britain’s great political parties. Again.

Tory MPs Flee from Chaos

It hasn’t even been a full week since Sunak had to give the most humiliating and pathetic defeated speech ever as he resigned from his position as a prime minister for the U.K. and promised to resign from the position of party leader for the Tory party, as soon as they go through the necessary procedures and elect a new candidate for the important role.

Of course he couldn’t help himself without sneakily including congratulations to his equally corrupt and defeated Tory MPs that he delusionally thinks should have had the chance to destroy Britain further and further.

Well, now they have the chance to recoup their losses and plan ahead for their ultimately failing strategy of regaining power over the British people, but fortunately for the average British individual and casual Tory hater, they are in the middle of a political party turmoil trying to figure out the roles of everyone still on board.

One very interesting Tory that saw through the rubble and decided to slink away from frontline politics happens to be the former foreign secretary David Cameron. The man with the extensive history serving as a prime minister from 2010 till 2016 and currently serving in the house of lords.

The former foreign secretary resigned from his shadow cabinet role following the loss of Tory power that he had as much of an influence on as someone like Sunak did. While the rest of the party bears the fallout of his tarnished legacy, Cameron retreats to the cushy House of Lords seat he was graciously gifted.

David Cameron’s exit should not be shocking to anyone who understands how the average Tory MP operates. They are sleazy individuals that only seize opportunities that benefit them and only them, it doesn’t matter if their party is going through a crisis right now and it certainly doesn’t matter if their already tarnished reputation is pushed further into the gutter.

Tory MPs Want their Own Interest

With the Tories now in disarray, their worst defeat in history on his watch, Cameron won’t stand up to help them rebuild. His resignation leaves others to clean up the mess he left behind.

Though Cameron bears a huge responsibility for the party’s current dire predicament just as much as every other corrupt and incompetent Tory, he won’t ever face any of the immediate consequences.

Even though he was part of a very huge scandal – if you have forgotten – before he came back to the foreign secretary position under Sunak. And if you guessed that it was a scandal related to greed and conflict of interest, then congratulations because you unfortunately know the Tory party all too well.

The only good thing I can remember off the top of my head right now is the time David Cameron had to represent the U.K. during the D-Day commemorations because our buffoon of a prime minister at the time thought it was more important to prepare for an interview than to respect the British troops in what might be the last time any of them will live to see it.

But even then it was more of a David Cameron was just left standing there than a David Cameron actively moving himself and rectifying the situation as it unfolded.

But overall, it is pretty evident that if David Cameron did not pull the trigger on resignation then he would have been the victim of a vicious Tory civil war sooner rather than later.

Victims of the Civil War

Because a victim of said civil war, a Tory MP by the name of Richard Holden, has been on the receiving end of threats and attacks from his own Tory party.

Many Tory MPs blame Holden for failing to save critical seats as chair. He faced intense backlash for allegedly securing a plum constituency for himself rather than more vulnerable colleagues.

Despite denying the charges, Holden’s position was clearly untenable after such an overwhelming rejection of Tory leadership.

The depth of anger against him became apparent as MPs began texting demands for his resignation as early as 4 am the morning after the election. Imagine having angry doofus Tories texting you at 4 am because they want to blame anyone but themselves.

Regardless of the truth, the perception Holden abused his influence to parachute into a secure constituency hardened opinions against him. Which is equally hilarious coming from the party full of backstabbers and greedy thieves looking for the next paycheck over actually helping the British people.

This disarray in the cabinet leaves Sunak – who really wants to step down as soon as possible for whatever reason – leading an empty shadow cabinet with not a lot of valid and hopeful options to oppose the equally corrupt and incompetent labour government.
